It's that time again to welcome the release of the Montana Cans Lookbook 2023 edition #8. There is no rewind button on life, making it all the more important to reflect on the year that was, and the things that happened during that period. The Montana-Cans Lookbook does just that and reflects on some of the highlights from the year prior. A moment to reflect on those things that may not have received as much shine as they deserved while being "in the moment".

GAthens has always been a meeting center for manytypes of arts throughout the years. When it comes tothe graffiti side there is a very strong core of talentedpeople in both its illegal and legal forms. Over the yearsI have experienced both sides and respect them equally.In my opinion, Athens is an easy city to paint. I think thisis the reason why more and more writers have beenvisiting it in recent years. For me, you can paint whereveryou want except to destroy statues and monuments.MCOver your graffiti history, what role have graffiti touristsor visitors to Athens had on how your local scene hasdeveloped?GI think that the interaction with other countries in thispiece played a very important role in our country and itsevolution in graffiti. Apart from the tourists who comeevery month for holidays and to paint in our country,historical graffiti festivals have also taken place inAthens in the past with invited important writers fromother countries. This to a large extent shaped thesubsequent development of this culture in our country.In my opinion, one of the highlights was the festival inThisio in 1998 with invited historical writers such asSeen, Ces, Cantwo, etc.I was also always struck by howbeautifully this blue blended withthe sunlight-white walls and redflowers of the island. I admire theItalian as well as the Spanish culture and I think it is veryclose to the Greek in terms of mentality and aesthetics.MCWhat is your favorite Montana Cans cap and cancombination and why?GMy favorite Montana Cans cap is the ‘’Level 1’’ cap. It isvery convenient for me because it is very precise andhelps me a lot in making very clean lines and details.Also, its other very basic advantage is that it is very softand ideal for painting for long hours without strainingmy hand. My favorite Montana Cans Black color combinationis ‘’LOLLIPOP-HORIZON-BABY BLUE-SNOWWHITE-BLACK’’GOSPEL has well and truly shown that contemporary graffiti doesn't have to looklike the many generations of graffiti before it. And yet still have the same weightand substance in a different context. This however doesn't give us any secrets asto which direction GOSPEL graffiti will go in the future.
