What wasstarted by youth as an exploration of self ina social environment that didn't seem tocare if they were there, has led to becominga global voice, practiced by many, andheard by many more. Graffiti is everywhere.In every free country and city, and probablyeven in those that are not. Spreading like apandemic, contracting graffiti is notlife-threatening and is much more fun. It isa part of the human condition, like a webthat weaves the fabric of society together,regardless of socio-economic status, language,location, education, or gender. To dograffiti you just need an idea, and fromthere you can transport it onto paper, walls,streets, yards, or even your tablet.The Montana LOOKBOOK is a homageto this way of life we call graffiti. All thepeople who practice it in every form, and tothose who give it a little something of theirsoul that makes it unique and exciting yearafter year. Montana Cans is proud to bepart of that journey. This time taking the shine were someof the Kings and Queens of the game, likeHOW & NOSM, and LAIA who gave theirchosen color from the Montana BLACKrange and gave it their personal touch. Inour Montana BLOG "Introducing" and "Interview"series, we delved deeper into theartistic practice of world-level artists likeROIDS of the MSK crew, who continuouslyreinvents what contemporary graffiti istoday, and Swedish artist Max Solca, whoknows exactly how to communicate to thegraffiti community and the general publicat the same time while making everyonelaugh in the process.In the material world, we created lotsof cool new merch and collaborationsfulfilling the needs of any graffiti collectoror fan with products and articles that bothfunction and look good. We even collaboratedin the digital space offering the excitingnew freebie "World of Colors", for Procreate.Even this LOOKBOOK that you havein your hand is another deserving piece ofdocumented history that will earn a specialplace on your bookshelf for years to come.Let's focus on the good things in lifethat we create, that fulfill us, and make ourworld a more colorful place to live.
